Capacity Building

Building the human capacity to drive transformation.

The capacity of the public sector workforce is a key driver of its success or failure.

Our capacity building programmes, delivered in partnership with the Blavatnik School of Government at University of Oxford, provide current and future public sector leaders with training and support from the world’s best public policy faculty, to empower them with the skills and knowledge they need to be effective in their roles.

Our AIG Fellowships programme gives outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of the public sector an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of critical public policy challenges facing the continent.

Our AIG Public Leaders Programme provides senior civil servants with the skills, frameworks and tools they need to meet the challenges of a complex and rapidly changing continent.

Our AIG Scholarships provide the next generation of public service leaders with a world-class public policy education, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to make positive change.

We provided support to the OHCSF Learning & Development team on programme development, applicant assessment and selection and resource mobilisation, including private sector internships for programme participants.

Permanent Secretaries Leadership Programme We curate specific training and leadership sessions for the country’s top Federal civil servants. Previous sessions have focused on Communications, Leading for Impact and Culture Change.
